Exceptional bed and breakfast, exceptional breakfast with caring owners who even served us food outside of normal times to accommodate our early departure for the Portage Glacier.
No complaints.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the cozy amenities like the chocolates in the room and the surprise breakfast even though we left early. There are some lovely options for relaxation, like the serene garden and a cozy fireplace in the lounge. The only small downside was the old creaky house, which made it feel a bit less private, but overall it was a great experience! 😊

Had a delightful stay! The room was cozy and decorated with charming details. Plus, they treated me to breakfast even though I had to dash off early.
The house felt a bit formal, like I was at a tea party with the Queen. And taking off my shoes? Let’s just say I’ve missed my slippers!

We had a fantastic stay with our grown kids! The homemade breakfast was phenomenal, and we loved exploring the nearby Matanuska Glacier. The lodge's cozy atmosphere enhanced our family bonding time, making our trip even more special.
My children wanted more space in the room. it was cramped for the five of us.

The homemade breakfast is a total game changer—don’t sleep on those waffles! Plus, the vibe of this cozy lodge is off the charts, making you feel right at home. And can we talk about the super friendly hosts? You’ll leave with a full belly and fond memories!
However, the room felt a bit cramped for a family of four, and the entrance vibes were a little peculiar—leaving shoes outside? Weird. Just had a more laid-back setup in mind for the price.
